They had the adud for 189 for months.. I'm looking to spend 200. Why don't they make cheaper like 75. 100 or 120 hz monitors. That doesn't make sense to me

Same reason other companies don't. If you can get for $189 IMO it's a good price, when I got my second one just last year I spent more than just $200, and the BenQ model was closer to $400.
If you don't do much with monitors, a $200 price tag on a GOOD monitor is a steal and pretty damn low.
