Anyone who bought a massive CPU fan will face a common problem. Here is my solution!

Parts I used:
- 2X 140mm fans.
- metal lid from a 1980's amplifier.
- 4mm * 40mm bolts.
- Angle grinder.
- Drill.
- Black spray paint.

The result:

That is a good and clean solution, lionhart! Thanks for sharing.

Did you consider cutting the case to remove the fan finger guards, since they are on the inside? It looks like they would restrict airflow quite a lot.

Hi, no problem at all & thanks for the positive feedback! :)

I have 3 monitors and a G27 wheel playing WRC4. Heat was causing some issues after around an hour of play. Since installing the mod, I've had it running for a bout 4 hours in-game with no issues.

If any do arise, I'll probably give in and cut out the mesh, but at the moment, I'm trying to avoid making too many holes in the original side panel. This is also why I secured it via the pre-cut fan holes.

Thanks again!
