Hello overclockers.com

I'd just built mij first PC and I'm starting with overclocking, I'm now running 1150 on the core and 1400 on memory. All stock voltages. I can't get a stable 1500 memory where I was looking for, and maybe a 1200 core. But keep in mind, stock voltages! I'm using a [email protected] and a ga970a ud-3p

Can someone help, greets (sorry bad English, I'm Dutch)

At some point you'll need to give the GPU some extra voltage.

I've got a Club3D R9 280X RoyalQueen that can benchmark at 1280MHz Core / 1800MHz Memory with a lot of voltage.

How much mv do i need to crank it up? I would like to achieve 1275/1550 or a bit higher than that. For the memory i'm getting unstable from 1480, for the core i don't really now
EDIT:1200 is fine to

For daily usage I would stick to about 1100mV on the core and 1600mV on the vRAM.

the standard core voltage was already 1125:) and I reached a stable 1500 with 35 mv extra, not sure what it is now. So I'm running 1150/1500 now, not 100% stable. I will go further when I'm back home.

Whoops, I meant 1200mV core :p
Early morning, hadn't gotten enough coffee yet!

Much over 1200mV on the core can be touchy on the reference design for long sessions of usage.

Im now running stable on 1175/1500, anything above gets unstable. At least, i can't get it stable.
