PlayStation 1 Memory Cards - which ones and what capacity?

Which PlayStation 1 memory cards should people get and of what capacity?

I heard that some games may have a problem if you use 'just any' memory card in the original PlayStation 1.

I'd stick to 1st party medley cards. They are almost always guaranteed to work and any game should be compatible with it. Some of the 3rd party memory cards have crappy flash chips in them that will lose their formatting at the drop of a hat

Never had any issues with Official PS1 mem cards heck I still have some around somewhere that still work to this day I kept my PS1 because some games in the Uk are not on the PSN Store
