Catalyst Control Center, do we need it?

I'm curious wether having CCC and the rest of the software that implies running all the times is of any use. For what I have seen is only a resource waste since all the configurations you do in CCC are still active after being closed.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I wouldn't recommend deleting it, if that's what you had in mind?

No, just disabling it from windows start-up.

That's what I do. If I need CCC I can open it from the Start Menu. I have found no benefit to letting it start with Windows.

You can disable it I never have it loading up at start up all it does is mainly load it in to RAM to opening it faster

I Dont even have it installed anymore on mine. I got rid of it and haven't come across any issues yet
