Which Win8 version for gaming?

Hi!

I'm having an issue that leads me to think it is related to win7 so i wanna upgrade to win8. My question: which one is the best for gaming? I know there is plenty of win8 version and i'm a little bit lost.

Grab 8.1 64-bit. You'll want 8.1 over 8 just because it's newer.
Past that, doesn't matter.

I'm personally running Windows 8.1 Pro with the Classic Shell mod... Don't really have any issues with it!

Any of the 64 bit versions of 8.1 are good. I'm willing to be your issues with gaming may not be os related.

Hey! thx for your answers!

So i dont need 8.1: i'll order 8. But do i take the OEM or the Retail? I plan to install it on my new ssd, and maybe on another hdd in the futur if i change my comp.

Why would you get an old version?
Get 8.1...

8 will literally just update to 8.1 while running updates.

If you're only using it on one computer at a time then either retail or OEM is fine.

I wanted to say i dont need 8.1 pro? So i will order 8.1!
