Just kidding. Depends on how hard they're run. Average probably 10 years if used 2-8 hours a day?
 
it seems it is ok to go with that card or should I wait for few months and upgrade to new gtx 970 and wil my phenom x6 1100t@ 3.8ghz bottleneck the card much.
 
I take it from your OP that you have no current card. If that is the case (and probably even if you have one that's worse than a 660ti), I would make a new GPU the priority. CPU is old, but you'll see more improvement from the GPU.
 
at present I have asus gtx 650 ti boost 2gb will I see improvement
 
I'm running an asus 7970 on a cheap, little 450 watt psu, you should be fine with your psu.
 
Didn't know you already had a 650ti. I definitely wouldn't upgrade to the 660ti. Just save up more and go for the 970.
