I want to become more proficient in excel to make myself more productive at work.

Does anyone know any good free or paid tutorials/classes that can get me started on all the shortcuts and advanced techniques like pivot tables, formulas and sorting and the like? I will be doing a lot of data analysis with large files, some with over 100,000 rows of data.

thanks!

Your local junior college, or regular college for that matter, is likely to have night/adult extension classes that include MS Office. There are also so IT training companies that have week-long intense classes companies. Your employer may even pick up the tab for your instruction and pay you while you learn. Doesn't hurt to ask.

"Log on to Learn" was one of two office on line courses offered by "Associates for Training and Development" a provider for SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program).
A4TD paid tuition so you could receive Certificates.
Courses are available for free.

GCFLearnfree.org was the other one

basically you can improve your skills but for what I was doing I tended to find ways to do what needed to be done and ignore testing, do at your own pace takes disciplain
