Hey, I just got a new laptop, HP Specter pro x2, given too me from my school. It's pretty ****ty compared to my desktop PC, but it has a pretty good webcam. I was wondering if any off you know off a way to talk on Skype using my desktop pc and use the webcam from my new laptop. Is there a way to connecct the two computers? The laptop is using Windows 8.1 and the desktop PC is using Windows 7.

If you have anything I'd be really greatfulf.

Thanks

YAWCAM maybe configurable for your scenario... I use it with splashtop to keep an eye on property that's unattended.
if you play around with it you may be able to get it to stream across your network to Skype.

Thank you very much for the reply.
Yawcam seems like the right thing for my purpose.

Thank you BobbyBubblehead. This program shall come in handy for the same reason as you are using it for.
