still going to be a while before we see any more real kind of cost reduction in $/GB on ssd's. other nand manufactures will do die shrinks on their nand and not really any/all that improved from when they first started vs samsung. being that other manufactures are just using more mature nand tech they worked up with die shrinks and adding speed bumps in running speed. biggest hurtle for current SSD's still will be cost and performing below what they can really do on SATA connections.
