Hey, guys. I don't have any friends who have done water cooling, so I'm hoping you guys would be willing to help me out.
I built my first computer a few months ago and she runs beautifully, but runs hotter than I'm comfortable with when gaming. I'm planning on cooling just the GPU and CPU, as I've heard that cooling anything else is basically just a waste. I'm not terribly worried about budget, as long as it doesn't exceed around $600.

Here are the parts I've been looking at:
CPU Block: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/xsracpuwaaso.html
GPU Block: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2...ce_Design_Full_Coverage_Water_Block_-_Nickel_
Radiator: http://koolance.com/radiator-3-fan-140mm-30-fpi-copper
Reservoir (hope it works as nicely as it looks): http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...nt_Green_Helix.html?tl=g30c97s168&id=qwmUJzqu
Tubing: http://www.xoxide.com/primoflex-38id-58od-uvgreen.html

I have not yet picked out a pump, and I'd love a little help with fittings. Also, I'd like to know if it is worth buying this to go with the GPU block: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2...760_Reference_Design_GPU_Backplate_16008.html

I know I probably look like a noob, and I am with this topic... Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks :)

Please post your PC components as well so we know what were dealing with here. Thanks

This^ with the fans of GPUs these days and the all in one CPU liquid blocks most ppl wouldnt bother unless you are building something special.

I am expecting a Titan or a few 980s to say the least... :p

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285
GPU (4GB version if that matters at all): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130953

I know that most people would say that there is no reason for me to water cool at least the GPU, but it really is getting hot. I'm not even allowing it to use more than half it's power (non overclock). I have six case fans, so that is no issue. The CPU fan is stock, but even with my friends' help, I couldn't manage to find a nice one that would fit in my case, so I've dealt with it and just been careful. The only thing that bothers me about the GPU fan is that it points downward... Which seem counterintuitive.
In any case, I honestly want the water cooling for multiple reasons. 1) The cooling, duh. 2) The visuals, as you can see, I have a green and black theme going. 3) I'd love the to not hear fans anymore. And 4) I'm going into software and I believe that I should know a reasonable amount about hardware as well. This kind of falls into that category. That said, I would like to move ahead with this even if it is not fully "necessary".
Thank you for any advice you have :)

What case are you putting this in? Also, what is the exact EVGA part number of your video card? The GPU blok you're lookig at fits Reference design GTX 760 cards and not all EVGA cards sit on a reference design PCB.

It would help out everyone much better if you would put your system components in you signature like mine or some of the other individuals.

Preferably right on the inside of the removable panel, if it is thin enough to fit between the panel and the GPU. If not, then somewhere on the outside. The case already has a couple holes on the back for tubes and/or wires.

First off, just to let you know that the case you choose is not a "water cooler friendly case"
If you want, you could mount the rad up top or outside of the case.
I don't recommend you mount your rad on the case panel

I suppose I can live with that. I guess I'm just mainly worried about the GPU block, now... If I can't cool that, I might as well just buy a standard water cooling system for my CPU :/
