Memory chips are blank but serial number is telling us it's probably Nanya IC. I haven't seen many of those in G.Skill memory.

G.Skill ARES DDR3-1600 C9 has only one XMP profile which is working perfectly on Gigabyte Z97X-SOC Force and ASUS H97M-Plus.
Below there are results on XMP profile ( first screenshot ) and overclocking results.

Overclocking is pretty good considering these are 8GB modules. It's also the best result on Nanya IC I've seen.

I had this ARES 1600 C9 memory for one evening only and I bet it can make some more. I was also limited to degraded Pentium G3258 ( I was pushing it too hard at too high voltage ). I wasn't expecting to get this memory and I sold 4790K couple of days ago.

As always feel free to add comments.

Thanks :) I'm trying to test all new kits that I have in my hands but lately there is almost nothing new as manufacturers are moving to DDR4. DDR4 are available only in low quantities and limited series. Most manufacturers are not even sending review samples or decided to send them to couple of bigger sites ( where many reviewers don't even know how to test it right ).
