Yes, the ACX 2.0 on the 970 and 980 both have the new fans which are quieter.

Not on the vast majority of titles, no. Hence the need for multiple GPUs at that res... especially running with AA (which less is needed due to higher pixel density).

I wonder if this cards supports multisampling or supersampling, whch are very demanding.

It supports MFAA, which is supposed to get the quality of 4x AA at the performance impact of 2x AA.
