I didn't buy any AMD workstation GPU since 2010. I'm quite impressed with the Firepro W9100 GPU. I'm thinking to use it on X99 hardware (5960X) considering its scientific/computational benchmarks over Quadro K6000 GPU.
Compared to Quadro, there is one draw back - Power consumption at high loads. I'm sure Maxwell based models will draw less power. But never mind.
If anyone using W9100 card please share your experience, thank you.
