I snuck in my little htpc in while the little suga bee had her head turned, so lets have a little fun while I reconfigure my little rig shall we?
gpu, Asus hd 7970, direct cu2 top.
cpu, amd A6-6400k ( A brute if I say so my self).
mother board, Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2, (nothing but the best here).
psu, OCZ gamestream (?) 600watt, (this thing cost me almost $60.00!!!!).
we will use heaven, from hardwarebot and run the fixed bench, where shall we begain?

here's the baseline, I have to work on the cpu clock a little.

not to shabby for a baseline.

But the 280x is quite a bit overclocked, lol!

I run one at stock.

Edit: @1000/1400 would be even better...

;)
I hit 1846 @stock. Not much of a difference, only 5£ with 200MHz/530MHz difference.

It seems the CPU is the bottleneck, lol!

Can't do much about it, I've hit the BCLK wall... :rain:

Might try with the memory, but I doubt that I can do any better. Will try anyway.

although heaven is very much a cpu-agnostic test, I could imagine an APU may have some trouble.

1050, still climbing!!!!
system draw is around 320 watts.

depends on the choice of apu and the clock really.
the place for most apus is an interweb surfer, 24/7 stuff.
in this box it's great for folding.

1100 and still climbing, I would have thought it would have petered out, it is voltage locked.

Well, don't have any for this platform...

And the Sabertooth that goes with the AMD's Phenom's is in back to Sapphire, as the 24pin ATX burnt...

I've also messed my Windows install playing with the memory, lol!

So, not much that I can do anymore...

... Unless someone knows a trick to increase the BCLK, playing with some voltage maybe?

Best score I got the last 2 runs was... 1480!

I am good for an imaging!

Yep, on the top left of GPU-z, you right click on the small green icon and on "read asic quality".
