Yeah, I agree that's no fun. Not really a "new release" when it's just a port or remake.
Meh. I don't really care what I play anyway. I'm not picky
If it keeps me busy for a few hours, it's a good game.

I dont know maybe I just never gave them a chance. I liked Far Cry 1. AC 1/2 didn't do it for me and I hear unity is buggy.

There are 2 Windows versions. The first, was ported by Ubisoft to PC. There is also a HD version, which UbiSoft had no part of.
In either case, Capcom was the developer, not Ubisoft.

I patched up Splinter Cell: Blacklist and I can't even raise
the resolution about 1280 x 1024. This is a common
problem among PC gamers w/this title.
I had problems w/Far Cry 3 as well. I had a legal copy
and at one point couldn't save my games.

It is. But apparently, because at one time it was ported and published by Ubisoft, it's now a Ubisoft title.
