samsung PN51F5300AFXZA plasma tv- what are the ideal display settings?

id like to get it optimum. out of the box the visuals arent very impressive but i heard online after a few tweaks it looks glorious.

To do it properly though, you should have a test disk... but that is really for the pro's or the anal retentive like me.

For calibration settings I generally check out avsforum.

We are all here to help.

Calibrating your TV is also a subjective thing too. Its best to follow a guide and set it manually, then tweak to your tastes specifically. I am not sure if there is an auto calibrate on that specific tv.
