Are all SSD's 5V devices? What about the micro-HDD's?

Title says it all.

By micro-HDD's I mean the really small 2.5" ones, although I think they make
even smaller ones than that.

From what I've read all 2.5" drives are 5v. Normally the PSU will effectively deliver the proper amount of power, but if your looking at using adapters or such you may run into power regulation issues. A 2.5" drive being run via USB should work out o.k. whereas a 3.5" would not.

Looking around seems they are slot variety (by which I mean they often locate directly on a motherboard not micro SSD cards). Some in larger cases with a coverter and some stand alone converters.
Never used one pereonally. I just became aware of their existence while researching for my own project.
Google-fu 1.8" ssd 3.3v
You'll see a variety of such drives and converter options.

So they have a plenty of application and reuse potential :)
