Is there anyway I can get the Intel Rapid Storage Technology utility
to auto-start on Windows 7 64-bit? Every time I boot my the icon
appears in the system tray but reports it's not running so I have
to double-click on it then windows 7 asks if I want to run it with
administrative privileges.

Thanks Arbiter Odie. I'd disable my ASMedia 1061 SATA controller, but I'm
not sure if my eSATA is run off the ASMedia controller or the Intel x79
native SATA controller.

Arbiter,

It turns out the iRST service starts running on its own, it just
takes a while. The UI though has to be started and run as
administrator.

So this issue is solved.
