I think the only reason why you would go with an apu is if you were going with integrated graphics. If you wanted anything slightly decent you'd have to go with a dedicated graphics card.

yea and I've got plenty of decent graphics cards

well scratch that, I thought the A8 6600k and the 860k were the same $89 price and no one seems to have the 860k instock at that price (any place that I trust)
but on second look the A8 6600k is $69 instead of $89 and at amazon (some place I trust). i'll link soon...
