Hello everyone!

I bought some time ago a NAS-k340 and it seems that my SD is dead. I tried to make a image from it as it was
with different softwares but with no success. I've also used every recovery software from Hirens and different card readers. DX extreme (the site where I bought it) did not respond. Off-course I google it but I only found out the details:
- it doesn't look to have a str8132 SoC, the main chip has the markings removed but physically it looks different.
but I assume it's INNMAX M1203
RTL8211E network chip,
RT5370N wireless chip
AU6350 USB hub chip
memory is a winbond w9425g6jh-5 32M ram.

I took a look at inmax site http://innmax.com/en/im1203.html and found the source code but I don't have the experience to do something with it :( http://innmax.com/en/sourcecode.html

Does anyone has a similar product and can he/she create a image for me or can anyone help me build the OS from the source code?

Thank you!!!

Hi,

I still have it somewhere, if you can create a image of the SD that would be great!

Thank you for your reply!

To password or not to password? Thats the question

Did you like I send you an image with no root password? The root password was useful to access the gadged by telnet, it come with an unknowed password (mabe just the manufacturer know). If I send it without password you need to open an telnet connection and create a new root password with the "passwd" linux command.

I will do it later, when I back in home.

I use the "dd" Linux command. If you don't use Linux, the imagem can be writed back using any other raw disk image software. The file unpacked contains just the entire disk contents.

The NAS-k340, Is it possible Openwrt or Snake OS ? SSH Server on the NAS-K340 ?? Operate 3g-4g dongle ??

Dan,

I can't find the image on my google drive maybe I trash it, but I still having the NAS-K340 at home, later I will get a new image and share.

Hi there,

I have a dead SD card too, and found this by searching on Google... do you still have this image of the card? Would you mind sharing it again?

Thanks

Dan
