Who runs a domain at home?

So how many have you have set up a domain at home instead of just using a workgroup?

Why did you do it and what features do you use it for?

I'm just getting into it and have switched over to a domain at home.

Just setup a WSUS server.

Hoping to learn more so I can set up user accounts to limit what they can do. Don't want the girlfriend messing up my machines, lol. Still know nothing about how to do this though.

I have a domain setup at home to learn the ins and outs of active directory, testing various software for integrating Linux servers into active directory. Also set it up for proper WSUS integration for all the windows machines at my house.

Just set up my User accounts with Roaming profiles. Seems very useful
