klipsch promedia 2.1

lots of static when i turn the volume control. i've tried to clean the pots, works for a week or so then the static is back. doesnt seem to be a hole on the pots anywhere to really get in there.

klipsch customer support tells me to just buy a new a volume control.

anyone have any experience with these speakers?

Time to replace the bad pots. Post a picture to help in finding the correct replacement.

There's a trick with disassembling the pot and then rubbing pencil over the worn out tracks, but they're usually cheap enough to just replace.
