I always reinstall drivers regardless. The GPUID changes and likely won't be picked up so a reinstall is generally required, particularly to get GPUz and MSI AB to recognize it properly.

Uninstall the drivers with display driver uninstaller in safe mode, then install the new drivers. I'm still on 14.9 IIRC with my 290 as I like to stay a version or three behind while AMD works out any possible issues with the newest revisions.

Not sure if you went with the latest or not, but Omega drivers have been rock solid for me. Used them on a 280x, 290, and now a 290x.
