I'll post here regarding good g2a deals. YES this site is legit, YES it works, YES i've used it... Its a good place to get legit software for cheap prices. How it works? Im not entirely sure.

Battlefield 4 -> 17$
https://www.g2a.com/battlefield-4-ea-origin-cd-key-global.html

Windows 8 -> 23$ (you can use my guide on the "windows" subforum to use this as a standalone installer)
https://www.g2a.com/microsoft-windows-8-standard-32-64-bit-cd-key-global.html

Farcry 4 -> 28$
https://www.g2a.com/far-cry-4-uplay-cd-key-global.html

mhmm, and for these past steam sales I found better deals between G2A and similar sites that were at least $5 cheaper or better :/ Steam sales just don't seem as appealing to me as they used to nowdays aside from some very few very cheap older titles.

huh, I wonder how I can get a clean install of windows 8.1 with out having a cd or usb drive?
I saw the thing on there about doing it without but its not a clean install.

I really need to get a key for my wifes computer, I installed 7 and tried using a key we had as an extra but the cd I used was pro so that aint working. I don't think she'd mind windows 8 though, for that price especially because I cant remember if this 7 key was used already

Not possible without a usb/dvd drive.

edit: how do you not have a usb drive? o_O

my tutorial explains exactly how to use a usb drive to clean install (not upgrade, thats simply a click and download affair) windows 8.1 with an 8.0 cd key

I thought we were talking about a USB dvd drive.

either way I don't know how I would get the image for it to the USB drive. I noticed windows 8.1 ultimate or what ever was ~$40 but I still wouldn't know where to get the image to install it from a USB device.
that's also something I wouldn't trust downloading from a torrent site, even if I have a legit key to use it on

I just downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro FROM Microsoft...

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Follow that to download directly from the Microsoft APP.

For my purposes I downloaded the .iso from the app and it sits on a secondary drive which I will add to a 4 or 8GB USB stick later.

It's really quite simple, just download the Microsoft app then follow the instructions. (Information on the site as well)

I can't recommend g2a, or any third party grey-market site anymore.

A lot of people are having games revoked from their libraries:

g2a shield protects you from this fyi. I don't doubt it has happened, but I'd say thats more of a vocal minority thing than a widespread problem. Has anyone here had any issues with g2a? I've been using them for a long long time (couple years actually).

edit: for what its worth, I have purchased and used the links provided myself. I have had zero issues with any of them.

On a side note, Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection for 6.94$ -
https://www.g2a.com/command-conquer-ultimate-collection-ea-origin-cd-key-eu.html

Civ 5 Complete collection for 12.72

Does the shield just give you another key if that one is banned? Because people who paid for the shield had games removed too.

To my understanding, you get a full refund. Peace of mind is worth the 1.24$ I paid for each game, so I always get it.

I agree with Bob on the G2A Shield, and after reading it seems the ones banned were those purchased with fraudulent credit cards then sold in the marketplace to an unsuspecting buyer. Ubi traced those keys that were purchased with fraudulent credit cards and banned only those, which left the buyer(s) high and dry.

On top of that though, I use Paypal for the purchases from these sites. If something happens, I have 180 days to get money back on the purchase. Posted below is a picture of my most recent purchase a few weeks ago for this month via the paypal page.

G2A said:
"As some of you may already know, steps have been taken to remove games purchased indirectly from a publisher, via main marketplaces in the web. G2A.COM is not in any case responsible for any of these procedures. However, we are well aware of this process and will do everything possible to compensate for that. For users who have made transactions without G2A Shield, we will check if the corresponding merchant was responsible for the withdrawal of the code. If so, these users will get a compensation. Any user who used G2A Shield affected by the current process will get either a new code for the game or the money back. G2A.COM will make every possible exertion to prevent this kind of procedures in the future and exclude merchants responsible for such incidents from the marketplace."

Windows 8 is in stock for a market place item again, I was considering buying it but I was wondering is there a way to install it as 8.1 on a clean install since its a free upgrade to 8.1 any way.
I know either way its going to be temporary when windows 10 comes out.

also a cd key from g2a as a market place item? what do you think the odd are that its going to be a bad key?
kinda getting mixed reviews about this place

Post 7 here, and mine is working fine still. I will be buying a couple more keys myself if that helps lol.

Shun the non-believers... Shuuuunnnnnnnnn.

Really though, if you aren't comfortable with the thought of third party or potentially wasting more money than on a steam sale, it may be best you spend double or more and stick to primary sources.
