I've been using the HDMI out from my GPU to do audio. I am trying to use headphones connected to my integrated audio solution on my Maximus IV (P67). I went into sounds in control panel and saw that the Realtek audio wasn't listed, so I reinstalled the driver, and it still won't show up!

What's going on?

Both in the sounds section of control panel and in device manager, the device does not show up. Drivers installed fine. Not sure if part of the driver install is detection of the Realtek hardware but I would assume that it is.

...sigh... probably not.. :sly: I feel like such a tool right now... brb...

Yeaaaah... That was it. Disabled in bios. I'm going to hide under a table until the embarassment wears off. I'm literally ashamed that I didn't think of that.
