SOLVED Anyone here use/used Cyanogen mod?

For about a week now there's apparently a bug with cyanogenmod where you can't dial 911, so good luck I guess:

Well I'm running Cyanogenmod 9, it's the latest version for my phone as it's a x86 CPU and Cyanogenmod 10 is x64 :-/
I haven't tried calling 911, and I don't plan on calling it just to see if it work though.....

I need to look into this. Thanks for bringing this up.

this isn't the first time that their terrible software has had an issue like this either.

There have been plenty of times the commercial providers have bugged the crap out of their own software - the difference is, unlike Cyanogen, they have networks where they can actually test dialing 911, so they don't have to wait for an actual emergency to test that kind of thing and they can usually fix such things before public deployment.
 
Back
