Hey guys, I'm upgrading from my old ASrock z68, 2500k setup and am looking for some advice on a reliable mobo for overclocking..
My system specs are
i7 4790k
coolermaster 750w PSU
evga FTW 970 gtx (acx 2.0)
1x 8gb crucial 1600mhz
coolermaster nepton 140XL
coolermaster CM690 III mid tower
3x LG neoblade IPS (lg24mp76hm) 24" IPS montors
m.2 480gb crucial SSD M500
My goal is to play Crysis 3, Tomb Raider and BF4 at 5760x1080 res..
I know I am pushing it with only a single 970, but I only have about another $200-250 to spend and if I have left over, I'd spend it on another 8gb ram
I have read that you can push the EVGA FTW a little further but I'm more interested in pushing the 4790K and perhaps the RAM to get me home..
It has to be compatible with the M.2 as I messed up buying it instead of the sata and I can't send it back..
Any Suggestions?
