4.8GHz until was OK.
More than that PC has locked in a load of about 50%.

The fallen of it is when the 5.0GHz.

I gave a stable confirmed in 3DMark and CineBench R15.

//UEFI Settings
//CPU Setting
BCLK is 200MHz(stable is 220MHz)
CPU Ratio is 25(stable is 22)
Memory Frequency is 1866MHz[9-9-9-26-42](stable is 2052.6MHz[9-11-10-28-46])
CPU/NB Frequency is 2600MHz(stable is 2640MHz)
HT Link Speed is 2400MHz(stable is 2640MHz)
CPU Spread Spectrum is Enabled
PCI-E Spread Spectrum is Enabled
EPU PowerSaving Mode is Disable
//DIGI+ VRM
CPU LLC is UltraHigh(stable is High)
CPU/NB LLC is High
CPU Current Capabillity is 140%
CPU/NB Current Capabillity is 130%
CPU Power Phase Control is Extreme
CPU[VRM] Voltage Frequency is 380kHz(stable is 360kHz)
CPU Power Duty Control is Extreme
CPU Voltage is 1.5V(offset)
CPU/NB Voltage is 1.3V(offset)
DRAM Voltage is 1.575V
NB Voltage is 1.15V
NB HT Voltage is 1.2V
NB 1.8V Voltage is 1.85V

4.8Ghz is probably about it on some of the 10 month old FX 8 cores we have seen come thru here. Previous to about that time frame it was closer to 4.5Ghz.

We don't consider anything stable in this forum section unless it will pass 2 hours of P95 Blend without error or reboot or temps of the cpu/socket going beyond 72c and the Core/Package temp staying at 62c or less all viewed under load using HWMonitor FREE from cpuid com. That is the watershed for stable in the AMD forum sections here by +95% of us.

Thank You.

As far as was seen in the Open Hardware Monitor is, I think that was about the maximum 55-58 degrees during 3DMark run.
At the time of 4.8GHz behavior.

It will not respond to all actions when it stops,
BSoD even does not happen.

Temperature of that time is around 48-50 degrees.

Is required Blend test 2 hours passing of Prime95 is if you OverClock?
If so still limit would be around 4.5GHz.

OCCT is make sure that you pass if about 5 minutes to 4.6GHz.
Should I pass the extent to which it would otherwise?

As yourself, I feel CineBench and 3DMark is it's okay if passing.

Still Can you lend the wisdom if good.

When I saw the Tj.Max in CoreTemp you remember it was 85 degrees.
Is limit temperature is 60 degrees at the time of OverClock?

Thank you for reading.

P95 Blend mode must be able to run for a minimum of 2 hours without any issues such as BSOD, Lock -up computer, instantaneous reboor and the P95 app gives n0 error of any kind.

Suggested temps as seen using HWMonitor Free while under P95 Load are <72c on cpu/socket and <62c on the Core/Package temp.

Thank You.

And Blend Test 2 hours of P95,
Which is good to and to check by changing the FFT Size to 4096KB from 2048KB?

Until if this weekend better of Blend test 2 hours,
You may not be able to answer the test results.

Thank you for reading.

If you choose torture test > Blend mode > P95 will run thru the various tests until it fails; computer locks up or you stop the testing after two hours or when you see it gets too hot since HWMonitor should be open and running ot monitor min/max temps and volts.

I would suggest you drop your CPU/NB strap. It is increasingly difficult to get it stable further you go up from 2400MHz.. CPU/NB problems don't really show in prime blend alone.
Symptoms for my systems are usually hard lockups, hard resets or Crashing apps with no error message.
I often run prime blend and then mulitask heavily while it is running. Either one of the cores fail or the whole system freezes.

5GHz is a challenge to manage cooling wise and I can barely run those speeds with custom watercooling loop.

Where you ran the P95, down clock has occurred.
Operating frequency of that time is 4.6GHz.

Because when you tried previously remembers to have been down clock even 4.2GHz,
I think that it try out again to strengthen the Northbridge cooling.

Thank you for reading.
