I'm getting ready to try and sell my old system, but would like some input on a fair price. Here are the details:

Alienware Aurora R1 (Purchased in 2010)
I7 930 @ 4GhZ
G.Skill Trident DDR3 3x4 GB 1600MhZ
EVGA GTX 780 SC
Asetek 120mm Liquid Cooling
Alienware Motherboard
Stock 750W PSU (Dell Probably)
120gb Agility 3 SSD
120gb Vertex 3 SSD
1TB Samsung HDD

with monitor: Samsung SA350 27" 1920X1080 LED

Rough guess (w/o including the monitor) maybe about $400-500

I do plan on selling monitor with it. The funds will go to a monitor upgrade, so I'm hoping to get around $600 if possible

I could imagine you getting another $100-$150 for the monitor in that case. So all together around $550-600 I could imagine would be doable.

Granted if you tried to sell it and ship everything you will be paying a pretty penny to ship all that.

I can see the OP getting $500+ for just the tower. Keep in mind some of those components are still quite decent, particularly the 780. And a 930 has to be worth a good $100.

Since it's an Alienware you will get a premium on your parts. I'd expect 600 ish for the tower.
