I have somebody's parents asking me how to capture some health-related videos and Firefox add-ons that work elsewhere don't work with on it, example video:

You could do it like my Uncle's 6th wife did it....

...played it on her Windows Media Machine from 2007, connected the S-Video from her video card to her VCR and recorded it on VHS tape!
