Asus 7.1 sound card connect to my reciever.

I am having some issues trying to connect my Asus D2 sound card to my Denon 1609 receiver at 7.1. I have a 13 speaker bose set up that I would like to hear through my 7.1 Asus D2 sound card. Can you possibly offer some advice. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Doc

All you really needed is a S/PDIF or HDMI cable from your motherboard to the receiver. It's just data so a sound card won't get you better quality.
