ARES 2 cooler on a standard 7990

I want to know if I could fit an ASUS ARES 2 cooler on my standard Gigabyte 7990

It's not likely that the layout of your Giga is the same as the Asus. Asus typically does their own thing when it comes to the "specialty" cards like this. You may be able to use the double pump but the HS and cover may not work. You'll need to compare your card to the ASUS in detail. But I took a look at both cards without their coolers and the ARES 2 just looks higher(wider) so I really don't know :/
