recommendations for a point and shoot with a large image sensor

just like the title says, looking for suggestions on a point and shoot type camera with a large sensor.
A friend of mine does a lot of vendor work and shoots a lot of low light pics to send back to companies and we've been having a hard time getting a camera that takes decent pics for what we do.

megapixel size isn't much of an issue, they get resized any way, the actual physical size of the sensor is whats important here
