ASRock z97 Extreme 4 vs z97 Mate

Hello,

I have almost finalized my build for a blue/black PC theme. I have narrowed it down to two options with one being significantly cheaper than the other. I am trying to decide between ASRock's Extreme 4 and MSI's z97 Mate. This will be my first time OCing, so I will have more to ask regarding specifics when the time comes. But, for now, is the Extreme 4 worth the price difference (~$40CAD)? Will it be safer and cleaner to OC?

Unless you are in desperate need to save $40. I would go with the extreme 4.
