Outlook not keeping username/password

Exchange server, Outlook 2007/2010/2013

Some, not all users keep getting a popup like this:



Doesn't matter if you check the remember box or not. It pops right back up anywhere from 5-10 times. Then it goes away and comes back in about 5 minutes or so.

Some users can select the "use another account' and re-enter their info and it will go away and no come back. Some users it makes no difference.

Any ideas on how to fix it so it doesn't pop up?

Tried deleting their outlook profile from control panel and re-add it?

Interesting...the control panel icon for mail (64 bit Windows 7) is a blank outline and won't open....

Weird, I made two replies to this thread earlier today and I don't see them now.

To recreate:
TheCheat, your method didn't work. However the one I found here: https://patrickhoban.wordpress.com/2013/11/18/0759-2/ did work.

Janus67, deleting a recreating the profile didn't fix the problem.

News stuff: Looks like it might be an issue with a recent Windows update and our exchange server. My boss is working on it.
