Does copper piping need to be replaced?

I know that flexible tubing and acrylic need to be replaced every year or so, how about copper?

I helped by buddy build his rig 4 or 5 years ago. It still has the same flexible tubing it did when we built it. Water has been changed twice, rig still runs strong and cool, with 0 growth. Just distilled plus a kill coil.

The copper plumbing in houses easily last decades with no issues, so it should have no problem outlasting the rest of the machine.
