Hi, I have a Gigabatye Gaming GT Z97 motherboard. I noticed in the BIOS and boot menu it shows hard drives and USB drives that are no longer plugged in the motherboard. I tried clearing the CMOS and switching to the second BIOS but no luck. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks.

Such an issue goes way back on motherboards. Sometimes it's a bios problem, sometimes it's hardware like dying caps and such.

Might be time for RMA from the sounds of it.

Hi, I flashed to the latest BIOS firmware and it seemed to fix the issue.
