Hello,

I'm new to the world of gaming laptops...actually any laptops over $1000. I have been looking at the current ebay sale and have found 2 laptops but because I have never owned either brand I was wondering if I could get some input. The main things that matter to me are build quality and what sort of life span it will likely have. The last few laptops I have owned have barely lasted a year even with repairs, mainly due to over heating.

Killer LAN,
WiFi 802.11ac,
Bluetooth 4.0,
9 cell battery,
SteelSeries backlit keyboard,
Windows 8.1 and more.
Backed by a 2 year MSI warranty.
