Okay guys i have been looking around some different forums and decied to see what you guys think.

I am looking for a X99 Mobo and have narrowed it down to two The EVGA Classified or the ASUS Rampage V Ex. I will mostly be gaming and watching videos on this Board i do plan on over clocking a little get into the more enthusiast fun.
list of my Build

CPU 5930K
MEM Kingston 32gbs of 2666
GPU Titan X 2-way later
PSU EVGA 1000watt G2
Just a heads up i will be watercooling

My questions are...

1. Is the $70 more worth it?
2. What is so much better about the ASUS that it commands such a hefty price
3. What is so different about the boards?
4. Even though i am a little new at overclocking i do not want to limit myself

99.9% of the people here will try to talk you off both of these boards.

Be it their arguments are ligament or not the fact remains given the choices you have provided the Asus board is the way to go.
EVGA has not brought anything to the table in such a long time one wonders why they even try to make and enthusiast level boards.

Okay so lets hear the 99.9% people that will talk me off both of these boards what would be a better Mobo. I am open to all opinions :p

After 5 RMA of GB SOC boards I wouldn't get another one soon but that's me ;)
ASUS RVE is great but costs a lot and most cheaper boards offer almost the same if you are "only" going to play games etc.
If you still wish to get higher series board then ASRock OCF X99 would be my choice right now. Not so expensive but offers almost the same as ASUS RVE. Gigabyte X99 SOC Champion is slightly cheaper and it's also not that bad option.

Actually every X99 board will be good as even the cheapest ones are high end with most the same features. However if you are willing to spend a lot of money on CPU and Titan X then I see no reason why not to add these $50 to the motherboard to have better series with some additional options.

Grab an X99 Extreme6 and be done. It'll let you overclock to the limit of your ambient cooling and won't cost an arm and a leg.

Looking at the budget with 2 Titan X in plans I guess that arms and legs are already gone :)

Okay i will be looking at the mention boards and bring them into consideration. I was kind of hopping to stay with my Black and Red theme of my build but we will have to see. I may have to get the ASUS just to stick to my theme since you guys are saying it is a very good board and you guys are only saying price is a little to much... First World Problems Right?? As of right now my setup will be a 27in 1080P monitor and a 40in 1080P TV but that is temporary. I am hopeing to have my New PC built by the end of next month with a temp GPU then get 1 Titan X then i am going to get 2 4K monitors that i have not deiced on yet. I would like to have the two 4K screens 1 for playing video games the second for watching video and my third 1080P one just for chat or minor programs running that i can watch like my CPU and GPU temps.

My biggest problem right now is that my current case will be no good for watercooling and i will only get a 420mm Rad and a 120mm Rad in it so i am thinking of going to another case. Because 2 Titan X's and a 5930K all 3 over clocked just can not be handled with what i can fit. So my build is starting to make me think alot more :p

To try and stay with the Red and Black for my build what would you guys say between what you know and these five. No particular arrangement. I really do have to thank you guys for helping me a bit I very much know what i want when it comes to Memory Storage GPU PSU CPU the only problem i haveing is the mobo you guys are life savers.

Yeah, when someone comes in and says watching movies and gaming, I don't tend to suggest buying the best boards out with loads of options for extreme overclocking, that is for sure. Additional options are great to have, but useless if you are not going to use them... so why pay for them? ;)

The Xpower boards are yellow, not red...

That said, I would get the cheapest out of those, the EVGA Classified. Its a solid board, particularly for your uses. But truth be told, you can easily use a board that costs half that.

If it was me, and black/red was my theme and I gamed and watched movies only, I would choose from these:

ASrock X99 Killer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...57540&cm_re=ASrock_X99-_-13-157-540-_-Product
MSI X99 Gaming 7: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130795&cm_re=MSI_X99-_-13-130-795-_-Product

Two TitanX on 1080p, I'm sorry, is a joke. A Titan X can almost run 4K, at 1080p ONE of those bad boys will have a glass ceiling on it due to the CPU, not even thinking about two at 1080p. You might was well save cash there and grab one 980 or two and save more cash.

Well sir First the yellow is really small and i didn't think it would bother me :p. I did say i was moving to 2 4K monitors :p.
I did look more into the Mobos i had posted and i deiced the MSI Power ones are off my list I am down to 3
MSI X99A GAMING 7, ASRock X99 Professional, EVGA X99 Classified

I still thank you guys for putting up with me I have the money and i wanna build My Computer the best that i can and still stay smart :p
I am doing a total overkill build and will stick with the X99 Chipset :p

Buy what will satisfy your wants and needs.

Why buy a corvette if you can afford a Lamborghini? This is America, land of excess and the not really needed but cool to have.

Enjoy the latest and greatest.

Because some people would rather have the Corvette and mod/tweak it to fit their wants and needs rather than buy the Lamborghini they don't really want.

Then maybe that person should just get a mustang and mod/tweak it to their specific needs.

Now myself, this is just me now. I'd rather mod/tweak the Lambo to fit my specific needs.
Again, just what I would do if my bank account wouldn't suffer.

lookin at ur rig u should not be givin anyone advise on what to buy just my opinion tho xx
