Thinking of building new system ( need advice please )

I've been looking at building a new system that supports ddr4 memory but I have concerns as to whether to build on the 2011 -v3 platform or wait till later this year when the newer Intel CPU's come out. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Mainly gaming and some photo shop . I'm just looking for a faster and better system since I don't overclock.
