I have a couple rigs where the cpu slot shows unknown and is not running. The 5690x keeps starting and stopping. Running Client v7

could be something on stanfords end, it just took about an hour for my rig to pick up a work unit.
 
Too new of a CPU? I dunno.

I know that some WU's don't like odd numbers of cores though. Like some won't run on 3 cores...
 
I got it to work by starting at 6 cores and then increasing by 2 up to 12cores. Will just leave it there. Will work on the Xeon that has 14 cores and 28HT latter.
