Hi there, this is my first post and new to water cooling. My question is; I have installed XSPC Raystorm CPU block on my loop and used the IN port as OUT port and OUT as IN because I didn't realize this until I took a picture of the CPU water block after I did the leak test (what a noob ). Will this affect my cooling performance and flow restriction? I will attached some pictures of the loop and temp. Please let me know if you see anything else wrong with my build. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to include hardware info to justify the temps
CPU i7 3770k oc to 4.2h
GPU GTX 690
ambient temp is 25*C

Looking at pictures available, you DEFINITELY want to reverse it. Its not going to work well at all going in reverse. Strange for them to put the intake on the left side though...

The actual intake is on the right, on the pic it has the "IN" imprinted (which I didn't notice during installation), but I put the inflow on the left. As you said it is strange where they put the IN, that means I have to turn it upside down where the wordings will be wrong way up or cross the tubing which will not look as clean. Thanks for the above pic, it makes sense to follow their instructions to achieve optimal flow.

Its a good idea to change it around. I have the same block, and it should be done correctly.

There is nothing strange about. EK have it the other way around, personally, i like the way XSPC have done it.

Worst case, you can flip the CPU block 180 degrees, and still have the XSPC logo up right on the mount.

I would just make sure the IN of the CPU is being used and not the other way around as it was designed.

I also would keep an eye on that colored fluid. It will stain your components and tubing and possibly gunk up the blocks if not maintained.
