    Classified Access Rules Change

After much debate among the moderators (and, indeed, those with access to the classified section currently) we have decided to rescind the restriction on email domain. Henceforth, classified access will be granted to anyone on the forum with 100 quality (emphasis on quality, not just quantity...if you see post count padders, do not hesitate to report them) posts and greater than 30 days of membership.

I have gone through and removed those formerly restricted for the sole reason of their email who a) have > 100 posts and b) have been active on the forum in the past year. Those who are restricted because of problematic behavior/selling issues/buying issues from the past will continue with the same restrictions.

If you have any questions, feel free to post. Should we miss you in our sweep, please post in the thread or PM a staff member that you would like your classifieds access reinstated. I will NOT be going through those with less than a hundred posts that have been set to no classifieds. If you reach 100 posts and do not have access, same deal - post in the thread or PM a staff member. If you have had classified problems in the past and have been banned from that section for your activities, this changes nothing with regard to your bans.

We hope this will lead to increased activity in the classified section. When you have access, first and foremost read the rules. I'll say that again - READ THE RULES. We run a tight ship and this is the only thing changing. Follow the rules and all will be well.

Glad to hear this, and I never really understood the reason for that rule personally. I rarely ever check my comcast email (maybe once a month). I've been using my Juno email account as my primary one I check everyday since I had dial-up back in 1998.

And yeah hopefully it drums up some activity in the classifieds cuz lets face it....pretty much dead around here lately.

I've also noticed the prices are often 80% of retail. That's not what people hope to find when shopping for bargains. They'll figure it out when their thread stays dead. The good priced threads sell out most of the time.

Yeah, some pricing is off the mark for sure.

I try to look at the SOLD section to see if something similar sold recently, scope out Newegg for a refurb model and beat that price, or just start at 66% or so of new.

There are still plenty of Imidacloprid products on the market. Bees will be in decline until they're gone.......and then some.

Well we passed a law in my county to make it a GMO exclusionary zone. France's bees are getting healthier now that they've gotten rid of a lot of that crap.
