Asus Z97 Pro Gamer PWM not working?

Well, I sent my cpu coolers for an RMA, plugged in the stock intel fan. Tried to control it with speedfan but speedfan can't control any of my fans plugged on the fan headers of my motherboard... speedfan can control my GPU fans tho. Maybe the culprit was my motherboard all along... Is there anyway to check if these fan headers are really faulty?

I tried setting the fans on speedfan to 0% only my gpu fan was able to respond.

meh, nevermind I solved it.. It was working via that Asus AI suite..

Speedfan is pretty ancient and not used much these days. Stick with the BIOS or AI Suite.

I would set that up in the BIOS as AI Suite has been known to cause stability issues.
