viewing directCDs in XP

I installed the lastest directCD patch and the latest UDF reader. I still cannot read from directCDs. This is the error I receive. Anyone reading directCDs in XP? Is it because I am trying to read from a regular cd-rom and not a cdrw?

Um . . . that's a CRC error. Looks like the file you're trying to open is corrupt.
