Anyone own either or products? Or better yet anyone lucky or unlucky enough to own both!? I am ready to buy a new chair and was pretty sold on a DX Racer since first seeing them on the NeedForSeat.de website years ago. Since then it would appear DX Racer is now on their own website and NFS is selling other chairs named Maxnomic (note the fraud claims below)

Now looking at the two the Maxnomic looks to be worse quality build then the DX Racer based on looking at shape, material, stitching and minor details you can pick up from internet pictures, but i noticed pretty much all the gaming teams are sponsored by them and have their own signature chair with logos and stuff ect. Would you put this down to marketing and such that the newer brand chair wants its name out there more and is willing to pay and or pay the most which is why teams have chose them? Or could the chairs actually be better then the DX Racers.

The DX Racers are 240-250 euros for the Formula Series and a little more for the Racing Series being 260-280 euros, as where the Maxnomic start mostly around 319 euros. I have seen every store locally and there chairs up to 500 euros which surprisingly all felt worse then 50 euro IKEA chairs at best.

After trying to get a little info on the internet which surprisingly there is not much i found this little thread. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1875827/needforseat-dxracer.html

Everyone should know that the chairs Need for Seat were selling as DXRacer chairs were actually imitation chairs - even though they sold them as DXRacer chairs, they will not honor them now since DXRacer forced them to stop selling fake chairs.

My friend bought a $600 Raptor XL, and the frame is completely ruined after less than 2 years of use. Need for Seat now calls these chairs Maxnomic, and do yourself a favour and avoid them at all costs.

Also, neither DXracer nor Need for Seat will assist my friend - so he spent over $700 after shipping, and now has a broken chair.

Yet i couldn't find any sources of this on the internet, mind you i am using google.fr and google.co.uk because i cant get just .com based on my IP at least from what i have tried.

All signs point to DX Racer but i just wanted to see if we could gather up some more info on the subject since i couldn't find any dedicated threads here via search function. I want a nice chair thats going to allow me to feel good in the long hours and from what im told you can sit in these style chairs literally all day without issues. Right now i am sitting in a 200 euro chair thats almost 2 years old which has felt like wood on my *** for the past year.

Thanks

I bought for myself Maxnomic . Seems to be very well made, very nicely packaged and shipped. And immediately very comfortable. I am really excited and have every reason to expect it will live up to my expectations.
