Anyone else with this issue here??


I have 7 WU's to send in and the client hasn't been able to send them in for the past day or so.
the IP for the collection server is 171.65.103.160 and the other WU has a collection IP of 0.0.0.0......

Funny though according the stanford's logs, 171.65.103.160 is a classic server, and it's last WU accept was in 2012?? http://fah-web.stanford.edu/logs/171.65.103.160.log.html

Has anything changed recently on your end ?? Firewall, router settings, program/system updates, etc ??
 
Historically speaking, this has been an issue on Stanford's end. Once they work out whatever it is, your WU's should get sent in with no problem. Adding to speculation, with all of the load issues Stanford has had on the front end servers, I wouldn't be surprised that a WU server is having trouble.

I hope so. Came home today an all 7 WU's are still sitting here. I stopped folding for now until I can clear these WU's up.
No sense folding if I can hand in the results!

Speaking of which, is there a way to force the client to upload complete WU's? All of them are waiting for another 3 hours until they try again. I'd like to accelerate this before the deadlines hit!

try rebooting the system and see if that shortens the delay before next attempt.
why stop folding if you're just waiting to upload? just let them back up till the servers come back online, a while back that was a couple of days and the one day points was neat to see!!!

Why? Because WU's expire.

Rather than have more expire because I can't send them, I'd rather have someone else fold them.
On a related note, seems my internet is acting up as I can't upload attachments here but tethering from my phone appears to work..

Yeah but that's all.
The other won't go even to the same server the other one uploaded successfully to. :-/

I emailed my ISP asking if they changed anything internally...
Perhaps that is the cause since my other issue of not being able to upload to OCF is fixed by using another ISP.

Might well be, that happened to me once.....They never told we what or why but they did fix it quickly once notified. :thup:

Done that more times than I can count. Disabled web acceleration, rebooted my 2 routers... rebooted the rig....

I'm all out of things to try. It has​ to be my ISP at this point.
 
Well, just got off the phone with my ISP.

They have no idea. No firmware updates, no recent changes.
The only thing they suggested was try again later tonight to see of the satellite was congested....

"We're not at fault" "maybe it will magically fix itself tonight" ;)

Hopefully something magical does happen tonight before you lose anymore WUs.

Well something magical happened!

4! WU's uploaded successfully just now! I only have one left.
Now, the tech did something to the modem he said that, he "cleared" something....

I told the 270x to get folding again. Hopefully this WU uploaded fine, if so I can get back to full production :)
 
Alright, finished the WU overnight, and it wasn't able to upload the WU again....

So I browsed to the server it was uploading to, 171.67.108.52:8080 and got a 401 HTTP UNAUTHORIZED page, which is good. That means the server is up!

So I quite F@H and re-launched it, and :thup: BOTH WU's uploaded just fine!
The ONLY 2 things I changed on my end was the MTU size. I changed it from 1500 to 1460 because of this thread I found about troubles uploading to BIONC servers for Seti @ home. I also forwarded every port on the first router to my 2nd router. (which I'm hard wired to)



Let's hope this fixes my issues!!
