This month will be similar to last. AMD and Intel have their own divisions. This time the CPU cap is a bit higher at 4.5 with the 10MHz leeway so 4510 is the max. All the benchmarks this month have a single core option which you will be using and final score will be the total of all four single core benchmark results. I'm putting in Geekbench so feel free to run some benches for the Bot while you're at it. this one was recently added to the points list so I'm sure most of us need to run some. Going to follow the usual Marathon rules HERE aside from OS allowance this rule is open to whatever you have to use. This one runs to the end of August so the 31st at midnight EDT
PS. This time it would be nice if the member who was wanting CPU caps all year could actually submit. I know I don't need names !
So let's get at it.

Cinebench R11.5 download
Cinebench R15 download
Geekbench 32bit only download

Hey now, I submitted last time and push for CPU caps!

Anyway, when's the cutoff?

Oh yeah I forgot that part. I'll add it and I wasn't pointing my fingers at you. Laet's just say his bark is worse than his bite.

can we get confirmation on whether geekbench needs to be run in 32bit mode or is 64bit mode allowed. the 64bit requires purchase to use and scores are vastly better with it

Boy you didn't waste anytime Dejo, I was looking for the single core scores though.

can we use 64bit on geekbench or are we limited to 32bit?

should be good now as all are ran in single core or show single core

64 bit is fine if you want to pony up for it.

Sorry Johan, I don't do stock clocked benching (that is called reviewing - which I do enough of already!). :D

... looks like I can submit here though!

I think you'll get alot more participation from the rookies if it was 32 bit. JMHO.

Single core always exposes performance best imo. But I can't stand single threaded cinebench..... I'm still in though, of course.

In single core you only get like 200 more points using 64-bit, multi-core is a different story.

So what's everyone think then. 32 or 64 ? I can rerun the test and resubmit. I just figured for the $10 most on the bench team will get that version any way . I know I have a ton of CPUs to submit and 64bit is the obvious choice.
I'm good though if we want to keep this "free" and "fair"
