I'm just getting warmed up!

I'll have pics of the setup soon. I've been swamped, super busy, and tired these past couple days, so I got the monitors hooked up with cables flying every which direction. Once I get it all sorted out, I'll post here. :)

Monitors look great, and the bezel between them is about 1/3 of my old ones.

I still do not have the cables done, but I had time to snap a few quick pictures. The two center monitors appear to have a large gap, but when sitting, it is not noticeable.

The two top outer monitors are not hooked up, and I'm not sure I will even keep them. There are times when I could use more than four monitors, but I don't like how they sit. I haven't tried to align them, however.

Anywho, enjoy the monitor porn.

I finally got some time to clean up the cabling, clean the rest of the desk, and make everything look pretty. Then I took some decent photos. As in the photo, the upper left monitor is hooked up to the computer, and I'll decide later if I want to keep it.

I kinda wish I went triple 1440p instead of single 4k now. Oh well, I still enjoy what I have. Minus the new fan noise. I can't wait to switch to water.

I searched all three pages of this thread and could not find the model number for those monitors.

Can this information be revealed? ;)
Sorry!

Austin is right, and I added the details to a previous post.

Gosh I really need to start getting those promotions so I can be as cool as thideras :D Only about 40 thousand more a year and I'll be rolling in dough haha. And it should be by the time the kids are gone and graduated :p

Love your Overkill builds! Keep it up

We can all look on in awe and get some inspiration. :D

As for me, I just pulled the trigger on not 1, not 3, not 6 but 2, yes count 'em 2 Dell U2415 monitors. I would dearly love the 27s. but the 24s will fit my space better and the pair is about $110US less than a single U2715H.

I'll be replacing an NEC LCD2070NX and Planar 2X212M - a not quite matched pair of 1600x1200 LCD monitors. The new ones will be matched, have a very thin bezel and be 1920x1200 (No crappy FHD for me!)
:comp:

Edit: No DVI ports on the monitors. :( I hope DVI -> Display port works well. :-/

If those are the same series as mine, you will love them.

I have no idea if they are the same series. Dell calls them both Ultrasharp. Key points for me are IPS, thin bezels and 1200 pixels vertical resolution. Coming from 1600x1200 I'm just not ready to lose vertical resolution and so many of the monitors in that class are FHD - 1920x1080. Now I'm wrestling with what to do for connections (with a KVM complicating matters.)
